FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How Tilldela works, what you need to do yourselves and how the pricing is put together.

How does Tilldela actually work?

We monitor tenders that match your company, assess whether you have good odds of winning, write the bid and submit it. You approve and sign whatever requires your signature.

What do I need to do as a customer?

You submit your basic documentation once: certificates, references and capacity. After that you respond when we have a question, approve the bid before it's submitted, and sign the statement of truth with BankID. For mandatory site visits or briefings, we book and prepare, you just show up.

Why do I have to sign the statement of truth myself?

The statement of truth carries criminal liability and must be signed by an authorised representative of the company. It's the one part of the process that always stays with you.

What power of attorney do you ask for, and what does it let you do?

It lets us act in the procurement systems on your behalf: registering an account, communicating with the contracting authority, asking and answering questions, and technically submitting the bid. Signing the bid itself, and any resulting contract, always stays with you.

Do you bid on anything and everything?

No. Every tender is assessed against your company's capacity and requirements before we put any work into it. If the odds aren't good, we say so before we start, not after.

What happens if a requirement gets missed?

A missed mandatory requirement can get a bid rejected without the price ever being evaluated. That's exactly the kind of mistake our review process exists to catch before submission.

How long does a tender process take?

A typical process, from the announcement to the award decision, often takes two to four months depending on the tender.

What is LOU?

LOU (the Swedish Public Procurement Act) governs how public authorities and municipal companies may buy goods and services. It requires transparency and equal treatment, which among other things means strict rules on which documentation can be supplemented after submission.

Does it cost anything if we don't win a bid?

Our pricing combines a flat monthly fee with a commission that only applies once you actually win a tender.

Is there a setup fee or a lock-in period?

No. No setup fee and no lock-in, you can end the engagement whenever you want.

What's included in the monthly fee?

Ongoing monitoring of relevant tenders and qualification against your company's profile, whether or not it results in a bid that month.

Do we need prior experience with public procurement?

No. Most of our customers have never submitted a bid before. That's exactly the situation Tilldela is built for.

How do I get started?

Book a short call and we'll go through your company and which tenders could be relevant for you.
